Journal 1 The Beginning
My senior year has finally begun, my first day of senior year started on August 17th, 2015. It’s my final year in high school. This year is the year I get to prove who said I couldn’t do it wrong. This is the year that I stay up late finishing all my homework. This will be the year that will pay off for the the other though three years. I am currently going on my second week of my senior year. I am currently on pace to graduate in the fall of 2016. I am on pace because I did the work that needed to be done when it needed to be done in the previous years of high school. For my senior project I am currently working on my first journal. Throughout my senior project the thing that has been exciting for me would be the memories that come back thinking of your previous high school years and that fact that It’s all gonna pay off in just a couple of months. My senior year i am looking forward to the football games, the school dances, grad night, and graduation day. For this year my goals are to complete my work on time and graduate. My goals for the future are to become a California Highway Patrol. Journal 2 One Semester Half Complete
Since my last journal not much has changed, I am still currently on pace to graduate with my class of 2016. The semester is coming to an end and I am do good in all my classes and keeping up in order to stay on pace. Before the semester does end, I need to finish up my weebly and up load my assignments. The difficulties I have came across with my senior project would be finding the time to do it since we have to do our senior project and our regular english work as well. My senior project is fun, I enjoy doing the assignments since they all relate to me somehow it comes fairly easy. In my senior year I am enjoying all the memories that are being made with my friends I am participating in school activities and just enjoying every bit of my senior year! Steps I am taking to prepare myself for my post-graduation life would be having a job and going to school at the same time, it gives me practice for the future while I attend college so I know what it is like going to school and having a job. My family is supporting me and my decisions in preparation for my post-graduation life, if I need a helping hand I know they will be there to help me. journal 3 Almost There
Winter break has came to an end, it was fun while it lasted. During my winter break I hung out with family and friends. I also ended up doing some school work that I needed to catch up on. There is currently two weeks left till my first semester of my senior year is over and as crazy as it sounds it still hasn't hit me that there will only be a semester left until I graduate. Something I really enjoied throughout my first semester of my senior year would definitely have to be the pep rallies and our Friday night lights. Before graduation I still need to accomplish my high school goal that I set for myself at the beginning of my freshman year. My goal was to stay on pace in all my classes and complete them each year so that I can graduate with my class. I need to reach that goal before I can reach my next goal which is attend Porterville College for 2 years and get my AA in order to transfer to Fresno State to get my Bachelor Degree. College for me is looking like a yes. I already applied to Porterville College and I will be attending next fall if everything goes well. The last thing I need to complete as soon as possible would be my financial aid to see how much financial help I will be getting for college. Journal 4 Just a few Weeks Left
The end of my senior year is approaching quickly. It has hit me that there is just a few weeks left till graduation and it's freaking me out. Thinking back on all the memories I made throughout my four years makes me realize how fast everything is coming to an end because I can remember my freshman memories like they were just yesterday. Crazy to think that in just a few of weeks everyone that I thought was my friend in highschool is gonna go their separate way when we go to college. One of my biggest regrets in highschool was not staying on pace for university track. Something I am looking forward to right now is going to grad night. I am excited for grad night because it's gonna be the night when all the class of 2016 get together to celebrate all their hard work and success. Graduating has always always been something big to me and is gonna mean a lot to me once it happens. It is gonna be something big in my life because I am gonna make my mom proud and prove those who said I couldn't do it wrong. My high school career has been with a lot of good memories and laughs. These past four years of my life have really been great and I am glad I got to experience them here at Lindsay High School with my fellow classmates. My high school year has definitely given me memories that can never be forgotten or taken away from me. |
